Spoiler Warning: This article may reveal plot details about
The Eternals.
After the
massive schedule adjustment
for Marvel Studios, Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will not start debuting in theaters until November 2020. While this does give the studio plenty of time to finish
production and VFX work
on their first couple of films that have already had their work complete in front of the camera, it also means that fans will not know much about potential plot points for a long time.

While fans already know plenty about
Black Widow
after three trailers and a number of news releases, the MCU’s second Phase 4 film,
The Eternals,
has been kept much more under wraps. Besides the announcements revealing a
star-studded cast
and a few overarching storylines,
details for this film
are largely unknown up to this point. However, a new cast listing has just given a small look into one of the potential scenes in the film’s runtime.
NEWS
A new cast listing from
Mandy.com
lists London actor Noaman Saeed in the cast of Marvel Studios'
The Eternals
, operating under the working title “Sack Lunch.” Saeed is listed for the film as a guest to a Babylonian wedding.
WHAT THIS MEANS
Historically, the ancient city of
Babylon and its people
were a part of ancient Mesopotamia founded over 4000 years ago, and the ruins of the city currently reside in present day Iraq. The city has an important legacy particularly in Jewish culture and folklore, serving as a safe haven after the city of Jerusalem was attacked and its people were captured and held captive.

The Babylonian Wedding that Saeed is listed for in the film is yet another indicator of how many
different eras of human history
The Eternals
will explore throughout its plot. In Marvel Comics, the race of immortals have been known to reside on Earth going back about 7000 years, which would mean they have already been on the planet for a very long time. It will be exciting to see exactly how much the group evolves and adapts through so many different eras and how they
adjust to the world
after
Avengers: Endgame
as well.
The Eternals
has completed principal photography and is currently in remote post-production. The MCU’s twenty-fifth feature film is set for worldwide release on February 12, 2021.
