The last couple of months have been an absolute treasure trove for behind-the-scenes footage from Marvel Studios. With a number of huge anniversaries for some of the MCU’s most recent major blockbusters, there have been more than a handful of pictures and videos shared that detail the practice and preparation that have gone into some of the most memorable moments the franchise has had to offer.
Another of these videos has just released to the public. It shows a test run for one of the most memorable moments of the entire

quadrilogy.

post on Instagram
, stunt performer C.C. Ice shared a video detailing one of the earliest looks at the fight choreography for Scarlet Witch vs. Proxima Midnight in
Avengers: Infinity War
.
She is shown fighting against fellow stunt actor Anis Cheurfa as the two perform some exciting fight action along with some very early CGI work to detail where Scarlet Witch’s powerful blasts shoot out from her hands. All the footage can be seen below:

Fans have been celebrating nearly every day for the last few weeks after footage from scenes like the
Wakanda battle in
Avengers: Infinity War
and Cap’s action in the
final battle of
Avengers: Endgame
were released to the public. This video takes it to a whole new level by showing not only the stunt action but the earliest demos of the CGI that would make its way into the final cut of the film.

Marvel Studios’ major blockbusters are always planned out years before the cameras start rolling, and this footage is yet another example of all the work that goes into making these movies possible. Nearly every major character in the MCU’s films has a stunt double to take on the tougher fight scenes alongside the actors that portray them on screen.
The filmmaking team always seems to know exactly the right formula for making some of the best fight sequences in the industry today. All we can do now is look forward to
Phase 4’s imminent release
in late 2020 so that fans can enjoy more of these types of videos after the newest upcoming releases.
