WHAT THIS MEANS
Cyclone is a descendent of one of the earliest characters in DC Comics history, created as the granddaughter of the original Red Tornado from 1940. The character’s title is representative of her arsenal of wind and sound generating powers, which she has utilized as a member of the Justice Society of America since her own debut in 2006.
Cyclone will join the likes of
Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman
as the rest of the League is cast for this movie. Plot details are currently being kept under wraps, but it will be exciting to find out what their relationship is with The Rock’s classic anti-hero.
Swindell has made their name in the hit Netflix series
Trinkets
in addition to a run on the wildly popular
Euphoria
. They are currently filming the upcoming season of HBO’s
