Much to the delight of the fans, it has previously been revealed that The Mandalorian Season 2 will reportedly feature the return of bounty hunter Boba Fett. The return of the fan-favorite character has been long teased in the franchise since a movie focused on the character was planned years back, but the plans didn’t push through. Instead, Lucasfilm decided to focus on The Mandalorian and paved the way for the show’s success. Now, the Pedro Pascal-led Star Wars show is being groomed to serve as the launchpad for future stories in the Star Wars saga, since pre-existing characters from the universe will now make appearances in the Disney+ show. A recent rumor may further prove that this is indeed the plan since Boba Fett’s involvement in the streaming show could lead to new adventures for the character.
FandomWire revealed in a new report that “a solo Boba Fett project is very much in development for Disney+ as either a show or a movie.”
