Evil Dead: The Game
has been announced as a part of The Game Awards. The game is being developed by Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games.

WHAT THIS MEANS
This is exciting news for anyone who a fan of either the
Evil Dead
film series or just horror games in general. While there is not much to glean from the short trailer that was debuted, fans can draw some conclusions based on the bit of evidence presented. The trailer focuses on what looks to be four player co-op, fighting against an ethereal being of some sort.
As for when we see this game? That is up in the air. They give a date of 2021, but that could mean anything. With no definitive date given fans should not expect early next year, but should not be surprised if they are taking on the dead come spring or summer.
