Marvel Studios’ hit Disney+ series,

T

he Falcon and the Winter Soldier is heading towards its explosive finale

and setting up all the pieces in the right places along the way.

John Walker is out for vengeance against Karli Morgenthau and the Flag Smashers, who just teamed up with Georges Batroc and attacked the headquarters of the controversial Global Repatriation Council. Sam Wilson got a ping on their location from his pal, Lieutenant Torres, and opened a mysterious gift from the Wakandans on behalf of Bucky Barnes.

Just as Sam was presumably about to gear up to jet off and try to stop the Flag Smashers, the episode ended and the credits rolled.

Now, the series’ marketing has shown a fair amount of content from each episode before they aired and the series

(season?)

finale is no exception. There are a number of shots that fans have seen in various trailers and tv spots that could only be from Episode 6 (or cut footage) because the scenes have not yet appeared in the context of an installment of the show.

Read on to see every single scene from the marketing for

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

that has been glimpsed thus far.

posted a series of tweets compiling all the shots shown in trailers that haven’t cropped up in the series itself:

First up, the Flag Smashers attack some armored trucks while Karli looks on with a grin.

Next up, there are several shots of Bucky speeding down the street on a motorcycle and stopping short to launch himself towards a masked Flag Smasher.

Bucky is ready for his close-up and a truck or car blows up. chrisdadeviant seems to think this is meant to represent the scene where Barnes confesses to the murder of Yori Nakasima’s son.

SO MUCH MORE STILL TO COME

As one can clearly see, the final episode of

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

has quite a bit of ground still to cover.

Notably absent from any of these shots are any sort of indication of a battle between Sam and Buck and John Walker, who is sure to be still in their sights. Also missing are a few key characters from previous episodes who could make an appearance,

like Valentina Allegra de Fontaine

or Don Cheadle’s Rhodey/War Machine.

It’s certain to be a pulse-pounding episode, and it will arrive only on Disney+ starting Friday, April 23, 2021.
