The upcoming live-action

TV series was officially announced to stream on Paramount+ in 2022.
The Steven Spielberg-produced series is set to star Pablo Schreiber as lead protagonist Spartan Master Chief. The series first filming in 2019, but due to the ongoing global pandemic, production has been delayed, and some fans thought would never resume.

Spielberg has been attached to this project since 2013 when it was initially announced at the E3 Xbox conference. Nearly ten years after the initial announcement, fans will finally get to see this show sometime in early 2022. According to Deadline’s report, the film is currently filming in Budapest, and it appears some images from the set have just surfaced online.

series will release within six months of each other.
It is apparent from everything that has been revealed about the upcoming series that Showtime will be sticking to a lot of 343 Industries source material. There is a lot to go off of with 14 console and mobile games in the
Halo
franchise.

“an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant,” weaving “deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future,”
according to Showtime.
Master Chief, the UNSC, Warthogs, and the Covenant were all introduced in the first
Halo
game in 2001. For players that have been fans of the franchise since the very beginning, it appears this series is going to focus a lot on the core fiction of
Halo.
