Star Wars merchandise is a staple for the fandom, particularly for those who are fans of the franchise’s films and TV series. The Star Wars video games have been highly popular for decades, but few merchandising opportunities have presented themselves. Since the Disney acquisition of Lucasfilm, the most notable gaming products have been an assortment of
Black Series
figures based on the
Battlefront
titles and
Jedi: Fallen Order
, alongside a few tie-in books and Funko Pops!.
The
Knights of the Old Republic
series is among the most popular of all the Star Wars video games. There were plenty of toys and books inspired the games and era in the Lucas days, but options on that front have quieted in recent years. Funko recently announced
a small selection of Pop! bobbleheads featuring Revan and Darth Malak
, and a Revan
Black Series elite
lightsaber was recently released. But the excitement doesn’t end there, as Hasbro has unveiled a few new action figures that will make fine additions to fans’ collections…

Darth Nihilus
WHAT THIS MEANS
These figures look phenomenal, perfectly capturing the iconic imagery of the Jedi and Sith warriors fans have come to love from the video game world. While the packaging for Revan actually identifies the figure as being pulled from
Galaxy of Heroes
, the character originated in
KOTOR
and was included in the EA mobile game with other characters from the classic series.
This is one of the first Darth Nihilus action figures to come in ages, and character looks amazing in 6 inch scale. Interestingly, both figures come in the old
Black Series
packaging, so these will likely be the last two of their kind before Hasbro fully transitions to more dynamic boxes. It’s a good time to be a
KOTOR
fan if you’re into collectibles, and the continued reveals of figures inspired by the games could be a sign of more neat things to come.
