Snyder will finally complete the full arc that he started in the DCEU with 2013’s

Comic book movie personality Kevin Smith, while speaking on his Fatman Beyond podcast, revealed that he knows the ending of
Zack Snyder’s Justice League
and that it does, in fact, open the door for more stories. Smith’s quote is in response to recent rumors that
DC executives see this movie as a
“storytelling cul-de-sac”
that is unlikely to bring more DC stories to life.

“I happen to know that the ending that he’s got for the Snyder Cut is very not a cul-de-sac, it takes it to a weird neighborhood, but it’s not a cul-de-sac. You can keep f-ing going with the story based on what I’ve heard from a friend.”

There is still no official word on
if the Snyder Cut will be confirmed as canon
within the DCEU, although Snyder has described it in past interviews as
taking place in a sort of
“elseworld”
away from the main story. Should this report from Kevin Smith prove otherwise, it would be a monumental win for Snyder after putting in so much work simply to get this release off the ground.
