After the successful run of the Infinity Saga, Marvel Studios is set to embrace an exciting new chapter of episodic storytelling, and
WandaVision
will get the ball rolling this month.
The Disney+ series will reunite Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Wanda Maximoff and Vision, but
the latter’s return is quite a surprising one considering the character died
at the hands of Thanos during
Infinity War
. Despite that, it seems that
Vision is alive and well in the trailers for
WandaVision
,
and his mysterious resurrection will no doubt be one of the central focuses of he show.

So far, the marketing for
WandaVision
has been primarily focused on the sitcom influences that will be carried out in the show,
like recreating scenes from
Bewitched
and
Modern Family
.
It was even confirmed that, at some point, the upcoming MCU show will
recreate the iconic opening sequence
of
The Brady Bunch.
And now, another interesting bit of information about
WandaVision
has emerged that will certainly boost the excitement of MCU fans
and
Disney/Pixar lovers.
NEWS
Marvel Studios officially released another trailer for
WandaVision
filled with exciting new footage. On top of that, the main highlight of the reveal is the confirmation that the Disney+ series will feature original theme songs from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
The duo have written award-winning songs for Disney’s
Frozen
franchise as well as Pixar’s
Coco
.
Some of the lyrics of the original song can be seen below, perfectly teasing the married life of the powerful MCU couple.
“They’re a newlywed couple.
Just moved to town.
A regular husband and wife.”
WHAT THIS MEANS
Based on this information, it seems that Marvel Studios is going all-in to present
WandaVision
as the franchise’s unique entry to Phase 4. On top of the sitcom-based influences, the addition of original theme songs essentially completes the TV show experience of the upcoming MCU Disney+ series.
The inclusion of Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez to an already-stacked
WandaVision
crew bodes well for the show, considering the duo’s proven experience in creating outstanding songs for
Frozen
and
Coco
. The pair managed to create catchy songs for the aforementioned animated films, and it looks like the trend will continue in
WandaVision
, especially after hearing the first few lines of one of the original songs that will be featured in the series.
There’s also a strong chance that
WandaVision
will look to create their own version of iconic sitcom theme songs, replacing the lyrics to tailor fit the narrative of the upcoming episode.
Meanwhile, the trailer’s new footage showed glimpses of Wanda and Vision’s twins as well as providing hints on how reality is slowly falling apart in Westview.
Whatever the case, all will be revealed when
WandaVision
premieres on January 15 on Disney+.
