that Jamie Alexander will be returning to the MCU, reprising the role of Lady Sif in 2022’s
Thor: Love and Thunder
. Deadline insiders also believe she may be in for a guest spot in the Disney+ series

, which premieres in May.
WHAT THIS MEANS
Thor: Love and Thunder
didn’t have a great deal of time at the Disney Investor’s Meeting to shine, although fans are already geeking out at the reveal of
Christian Bale officially playing Gorr the God Butcher
. This news should have fans even more excited for this movie, which already boasts one of the most high-profile casts in Phase 4.
Lady Sif has not been seen on the big screen since 2013’s
Thor: The Dark World
, although Jamie Alexander did bring the role to Seasons 1 and 2 of Marvel’s
Agents of SHIELD
on ABC.
With her absence in
Thor: Ragnarok
due to scheduling conflicts, there were questions as to whether she would ever play the role again, and now she should make an excellent addition to Thor’s all-star team of heroes.
