In the middle of December, Marvel Studios

announced a new series

for Disney’s streaming service,

Legends

, that was described as a series that would explore

“some of the most iconic moments from the MCU, one character at a time.”

Marvel Studios: Legends

launched with two episodes focused on Wanda and Vision before

WandaVision

releases next week

.

Some may be disappointed to discover that this series isn’t much more than exactly what it said it would be: looking at the characters’ most iconic moments throughout the movies with both episodes not passing fifteen minutes combined.

However, it’s still nice to have as a refresher for audiences who don’t have the time or desire to re-watch a whole catalog of movies again to play catch up for the series premiere of

WandaVision

.

New posters have been released for

Marvel Studios: Legends

showing off some of the most famous imagery from the MCU, such as Captain America’s shield, Thor’s hammer, and Tony Stark’s Iron Man armor.

A smaller variation of the same poster was also released.

Again,

Marvel Studios: Legends

seems to be exactly as it was promoted to be, which is showcasing the character’s most iconic moments from the movies. This is represented by the posters using still images of the characters from various posters in the past. It doesn’t mean that the series doesn’t have any worth since the plan clearly seems to be releasing episodes a week before bigger releases like movies or shows when it relates to specific characters.

At the end of both episodes for Wanda and Vision,

Legends

promotes

WandaVision

to viewers to continue their stories. That likely means that, as many have already expected,

Marvel Studios: Legends

will release two more episodes in March before the premiere of

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

focused on Sam and Bucky.
