Disney’s Investor Day brought a lot of excitement to Marvel fans, announcing some unexpected new projects and shedding some light on pre-existing ones.
Several Disney+ shows got casting confirmations,
including the fact
that Tatiana Maslany would indeed be portraying
She-Hulk
in the series.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
was also confirmed
to be connected to the upcoming
Spider-Man 3
and also revealed that Xochitl Gomez will be playing America Chavez.

bringing a brand new trailer
with a plethora of new footage. Loki also sports a new look seemingly based on his more recent comic appearances, with shorter horns and the return of a green color palette.

In the comics, Mephisto is a Satan-inspired immortal who literally lives in a section of the Marvel Universe called Hell. He has a number of magical abilities that give him the powers of superstrength and illusion manipulation, and he is often butting heads with title heroes like Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, and the Fantastic Four.

Given what is known about the
Loki
series, it is likely that this stained-glass artwork originates from an alternate timeline. The trailer suggests that Loki will be hired by the TIme Variance Authority to explore different timelines through MCU history. Therefore, this may be one where Mephisto reigns supreme.
Some have speculated
that Mephisto could make his MCU debut in
WandaVision
, potentially being the source of Wanda’s torment in the series. If this is true, and Wanda overcomes the magic user by the end of her series, perhaps
Loki
could explore a timeline where Mephisto came out on top. The imagery of this stained-glass seems to have religious connotations, bearing a lot of similarities to artwork of the clergy. There is a possibility that Mephisto could have used a potential victory to pass his influence on the entire world, forcing all to obey and worship him.
