Spider-Man: No Way Home was no doubt a monumental achievement. Not only did it feature an emotional and heartbreaking journey for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, but it managed to integrate many characters from Sony’s past Spider-Man films seamlessly into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, one character that did not appear in the film was Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio. Marvel Studios is on a roll with releases on Disney+ and in theaters which are set to continue through the rest of 2021. The Disney+ side of Phase 4 is looking to end off the year with Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, which will be the first time the MCU’s long-time archery expert has headlined his own solo outing.
