Recently, Ayer has more freely spoken of these changes, such as describing how Jared Leto’s performance as The Joker was

and how Katana was supposed to be
mind-controlled by Enchantress
during the climax of the movie.

However, when one fan brought up an old deceleration in the face of this new campaign for his cut, David Ayer reaffirms it instead of rebuking it as some would expect.

, one fan questioned whether Ayer stood behind a 2017 tweet he had made answering if he had regretted his time working with Warner Brothers as the director for
Suicide Squad

Obviously, David Ayer still has no regrets three years later about working with Warner Brothers or his time on
Suicide Squad
