The Mandalorian
has given us a look into what happened during this mostly untold 30-year gap. Branching off of what the Rebellion built, the New Republic has formed. They’ve been represented most so far by two X-wing pilots, Trapper Wolf and Captain Carson Teva, played by Dave Filoni and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, respectively. We can expect to see these characters and more in the upcoming
Star Wars: Rangers of the New Republic

out by Paul Sun-Hyung Lee donning his New Republic helmet, he revealed that the text on the side of his helmet translates to “OKSEEYOU.” This is a nod to Lee’s character on
Kim’s Convenience,
who often says “Ok. See you” when customers are checking out. Here’s the full tweet:
