“it’s a weird time”
and implied that he didn’t think that Carano should have been fired
“unless she did some truly horrible shit or said overtly racist shit,”
saying on his show:

“It’s a weird time….Unless she did some truly horrible shit or said overtly racist shit… I don’t know. I think there is just too many channels. And then you gotta do sensational shit…I don’t know what the f*** it is. I’m on that fing show. Now, I gotta watch what the f I say.”
Burr described the Cara Dune actress as an
“absolute sweetheart”
and a
“super nice f***ing person,”
stating:
“She was an absolute sweetheart. Super nice fing person. And you know whatever and somehow someone will take this video and they’ll make me say something else and try to get rid of my bald action figure. It’s how it is out there. It’s fing crazy times. People just waiting, laying in the weeds.”
The comedian and actor shared his opinion of the people waiting for celebrities to slip up in some way, describing the recent cancel culture era as
“crazy times.”
