and how it differs from
The Mandalorian.
The show’s executive producer confirmed that the series is separate from
The Mandalorian
and that Season 3 will begin production
“right after”

Season 3, but what we didn’t say in that announcement is that the next show coming, Kathy [Kennedy] said ’the next chapter,’ and that’s gonna be
The Book of Boba Fett.
And then we go into production right after that on Season 3 of
The Mandalorian,
y’know, back with the main character we all have known and loved.”
The Mandalorian
creator continued, giving an update on how far in development each project is:
“We’re working on [The Mandalorian Season 3’s] pre-production now, while we’re in production of Boba Fett.
