WHAT THIS MEANS

While we still don’t have a trailer for

The Suicide Squad

, these newly released photos do shed a bit more light on the somewhat mysterious project, offering a look at several of the film’s offbeat characters.

The photos, while not too telling, do give some of the best looks yet at a few of the characters, including a more comedic look at John Cena’s brutal Peacemaker, the full Ratcatcher 2 costume, and Idris Elba in full Bloodsport getup.

Though fans may have been expecting a bit more from Warner Bros at CCXP’s panel, this relatively minor tease hopefully means more substantial reveals, like a trailer, are not too far off.
