Wonder Woman 1984 is set to open a brand new chapter in Diana Prince’s heroic journey in the DCEU, but the numerous delays that hounded the film have kept fans waiting for the time being. The Gal Gadot-led sequel will look to premiere in theaters this Christmas, but signs point to another delay due to the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic.
Despite that, this didn’t stop the cast and crew from hyping up the eventual release of the film. Pedro Pascal, who portrays Maxwell Lord in the film, previously shared his unique way of preparing for the role. In addition, Gadot also revealed her reaction when watching the film’s opening sequence, teasing that she “always gets teary” when doing so.

Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins also joined the hype train by assuring fans that streaming is not an option for the film, confirming that the DCEU entry deserves to be seen on the big screen. Now, Jenkins revealed new images from the set of the film while also praising one of its stars.

This new batch of Wonder Woman 1984 set photos might not offer much, but they will likely serve to increase fan excitement for the upcoming film. Not only that, the set photo shows off the IMAX camera that was used while filming, seemingly hinting that the opening scene was shot in a wide scope format. This certainly adds a boost to the film’s powerful first scene.
